High
performance Phase Locked Loop (PLL) low noise block converters (LNBs).
Available in many configurations, frequencies ranges and frequency
stabilities. External reference models are available for the very
lowest data rates and precise frequency applications.
Most applications are served by models with a built in internal reference. High stability (3 ppm) internal reference models can be used down to 32 kbps and medium stability models (10 ppm) can be used for 128 kbps and higher. High orders of modulation 8 PSK and above will demand higher stability LNBs The IF connector is typically type F (f) but models area available with type N (f). The IF, dc supply (15 to 24 V dc) and where required the external reference signal are all multiplexed onto the IF cable |
